The BC property assessments were sent out last week. Overall assessments in Vancouver are up 10-25% for detached houses, 10% for Strata properties. West Vancouver saw 15-30% increases, North Vancouver increases ranged from 5 - 10% with some areas actually decreasing a little. Surrey, New West, Burnaby and Tri-Cities are up for the most part, and the Fraser Valley area saw little change. Some areas of Richmond saw high increases similar to West Van. The most notable drop was Whistler and Pemberton areas.
