Fall is here and what better way to enjoy a weekend on the Shore than to hit one of the local Farmer’s Markets? The Lonsdale Quay Farmer’s Market is on Saturday from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. You’ll find more than just food here – local artists, jewellers, clothing, soaps, and live music make this an event for the whole family.
On Sunday September 21, head to Ambleside Park for the Ambleside Farmer’s Market which runs between 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. This market also has a selection of organic and conventional farm items as well as many other artistic wares and live music to enjoy while you browse.
Looking for an evening event? The Shipyards Night Market runs for 2 more Friday nights, September 20 & September 27, from 5 pm – 10 pm. Over 120 local vendors offer food and other items and different bands are featured weekly. This Friday night is The Millenials starting at 6 pm, but don’t miss the opening band, Baked Potato, they’ll be on at 5 pm.
